The goals for Tree Lake:

· Protection of the lake to prevent further deterioration.

· Reduce nutrient load to the lake.

· Prevent introduction of exotic plants.

· Improve navigation and recreational attributes of the lake.

· Manage plant growth as much as possible to attain a healthy plant community without the use of chemicals.

· Restore healthy fish and wildlife habitat.

Establish sensitive areas and implement policies to protect them

· Use current technology to evaluate and manage the lake ecosystem
